My husband is getting belly fat despite eating less and exercising. what is the best diet and supplements for a high stressed and over worked man? he eats tortillas everyday, i know its not good. More fruits the wieght will drop off fast. The belly or gut will take longer. Have him suck his gut in and count to ten twice a day. A physical therapist had me do this. It was working but it made me pee and go all the time. If he can get iver that good for him. Also get off the bread and tortillas as I did. He will lose wieght fast and feel better, it surprised me 2 pant sizes down.
does he take vitamins and minerals. Garden of life is a good brand. Probiotics vitamin D will get rid of spare tire. Have his vitamin D levels checked. Should be above 50 . I like my levels to be between 80 and 100

Lift weights. High weight low reps. Squats, bench press, lifts that use your chest legs and core. All those will help boost testosterone.

Example, white russet potatoes are high glycemic and reds are lower, Yukon Gold potatoes are even lower. I eat a lot of sweet potatoes, I just steam them, they are lower glycemic then yams. The high glycemic foods I really try to avoid are white bread and pastries. When I do eat bread, I choose a lot of fiber and organic. Best to you!!!
