I get severe leg, calf, shin, toe, foot cramps. I take magnesium. My naturopath told me I should be taking magnesium citrate. When all else fails I take a shot of raw apple cider vinegar because it provides instant potassium and immediately takes the cramps away. If you don’t have acv then pickle juice can work too

A NIH article I read associated inflammation caused by omega 6 oils to neurodegenerative diseases.

Honestly the CBD oil has helped me hugely with that. I still get them but not as often.

I know the pt has been having me do major back arches to fix my hip. So maybe the spasms are from that I don’t know.

I sometimes use Horse Chestnut and it does seem to help.
I have so many daily legs and back. It's awful

Two bananas a day would keep the cramps at bay! Plus the hydration and stretching exercises.
Bananas are rich in potassium and other vitamins.

and it does not make me sleepy
Well i took extra calcuim and magnesium last night so far no spasms.

Yes i have muscle relaxers. Too didnt help. My foot docotr told me the spasms are from not drinking enough water.
