Predator species like lace wings or ladybugs and Diatomaceous Earth. Best thing is not to get them in the first place and be proactive rather than reactive.
Regarding dimacious earth. This is good way to keep then away but hiw wouod one use this under the leaves? I just bought predator mites to solve the issue. Seems to have worked thankfully. Dimacious earth is amazing stuff and cheap and would love ideas! Thank you
once you have spider mite in your house it there pretty much for good but one can prevent it bye keeping cleaning room down every 8 weeks I some time also give them a treatment around week 5 in to flowering sometimes but just keeping the room clean is good enough I have not had it in years
a freeking house fly got in my tent when I was seeing signs of mites I'm watching the f*cking thing and it was busily going up and down and all around the plant I was like wtf? You know I'll bet that SOB was eating the spidermites there was like nothing else there for it to eat and it didn't leave the tent too
As possible.. You can use spiritus white soap to spray it. 1ltr of water whit 1theaspoon off spiritus and spray it under the leafs and above. Dont spray when the sun is hot outside(to prevent burning the leafs
Green clean killed the ones i had once. In the Veg cycle spray them down when lights are off. Get every square inch of plant, topsoil and pot. Worked great for me, killed em in one shot
Cold pressed neem oil, azamax, green cleaner, nukem, sulfur bomb, are some of the ways. I found what works best is to throw everything out including the plants if still young and start over and dont reuse anything but the eqiupment. Throw out the trellis, pots, yoyos, and so on and take bleach water to the floors and walls and alcohol to the hoods.
When I use for spider mites powdered mold even aphids is a product called Flying skull nuke Nukem. This stuff you could actually apply under LED light of course under HPS you would want to turn off the lights in till it's at least tried. It doesn't ruin your Leafs like neem oil clove oil or any of those other oils. And it does a lot better job you can even use it during budding directly on the bud. That's all I use now and is totally organic
Citric acid, isopropyl alcohol, Dawn soap and water. Citric acid is found in the canning section of Walmart or grocery store. Spray the underside of all leaves. Every three days to break the life cycle.
The best way by far is a mixture of neem oil, tee tree oil and Dr. Bronners sprayed in a fine mist all over the plant, including the underside of the leaves
I tried! Between my HPS lights and my terrible cell phone you couldn't see a freaking thing, just a blur of red light. I was super disappointed, I really wanted that video to share. Especially since you personally asked. I am in desperate need of a new phone. Im sorry mark
Mark Shannon you and Moody were not kidding, It was one of the most fascinating things I have ever seen. I don't think I'll ever use a pesticide again. It was a great tip. Im surprised its not a more popular tool in fighting mites.
Organic IPM. Start with blended micronized essential oils (Smite) then a few days later use an enzymatic product (Dr Zymes) then a few days later hit em with green cleaner and a few days after that release thousands of predatory mites like Amblyseius andersonii or cucumeris. Repeat the entire procedure once a month.
I’ve had them in the past, just curious to know people’s solutions
I thought they were back... Two things I don't want to hear... Spider Mites and RCMP...
And you wont

Proactive rather than reactive is right.

Big Time exterminator works well for me. As a preventative I add 10 ml per gallon of water when watering until bloom.

Too bad, they go after mites like a $20 hooker goes after crack.

Phytoseiulus persimilis is also another fantastic predatory mite.
