What are some of your favorite supplements/foods/activities, to help combat brain fog?
(FYI, I am not on prescription meds.)
Probiotics, digestive enzymes, and Magnesium!
I started taking magnesium a month ago brain fog gone and I sleep better
It's like the magic supplement most people don't know about! I just learned about it 5 months ago!
What's your dosage?
What type do you take?
I take two of these before bed.... So, 380mg. I'll sometimes take the recommended other dose during the day for digestive reasons
I take Tesco own brand 375mg I take one a day they work for me
Thrive, all natural, plant based.
My advise would be to get off the meds causing it! I had too! Lyrica!
I'm not on any meds.
Yoli Cisneros maybe you're lacking a vitamin or mineral? Google Webmd, brain health. I find a lot of good ideas on there.
Carolyn Burris I take a variety of supplements, and routinely check for deficiencies. I just wanted to know what works for group members, that way myself and others can hear various methods.
Yoli Cisneros I lack Potassium and VitaminD, almost always. My dr just changed my D to a wafer called Replesta, which is orange flavored and I just crush it up and swallow it. 50,000mg every 2 weeks. The pill was not working. I found it cheaper on Amazon. 8/$17.?? My pharmacy wanted 21.99 for 4!!! Pays to shop around. I take magnesium before bedtime, helps me sleep. I take a vitality pack from Doterra, but only one each, not 3 as directed @ day.
Carolyn Burris Vitamin D deficiency is just a pain in the tush!!
I take no meds, except occasional Tylenol.
I don't either. I stick to cannabis.
No meds for me either. I take an all natural supplement in place of Tylenol, as well
Perhaps a silly question, but just straight magnesium? I know there are so many different types.
Coffee enemas give amazing energy and mental clarity.
Eek, I'll stick to supplements
Yoli Cisneros understandable. For the fun of it, look into it. Might not be right for you though interesting to research.
Melissa Gibbs I have no doubt that it has high efficacy for many people, I've done some reading on it. I'm not taking it completely off the table, but would rather exhaust other options first. Happy to hear it's working for you.
The ones I take are just magnesium I also take turmeric and red krill oil and no prescription meds
I'm giving magnesium a go!
Yoli Cisneros are you just staying with regular magnesium capsules?
Courtney Little Yep! Found some on Amazon, giving them a try.
No processed foods, seem to do it.
Lemon water and a nap.
Stamets 7 ( mushroom capsules)
methylated vitaminsB, magnesium, zinc, and taurine
I struggle with this all the time, sometimes a kale, cucumber, pepino smoothie with ginger, pineapple and banana picks my brain up a bit. But the struggle is real.
Exercise. Resistance plus cardio training. Yoga. Stretching
Trying out magnesium, will let you all know if I feel a difference!
