Naseer Henry Who are devotee of Lord Shiva called shaiv follower Who are devotee of Lord Vishnu called vaishnov follower Lord Shiva chants name of Lord Vishnu And Lord Vishnu chants name of Lord Shiva So... Its too difficult to conclude which are more. Devotee of Feminine energy are known as shakt followers All are inter related and dependent As nature and universe existed in same manner.

Got it. So shakti is also lord and those who are devotee of shakti are called shikno or shktisme follower. Than what about Krishna?

Naseer Henry 3 years

All are equal; however some scholars explained quite beautifully that all sects or belief systems are like paintings and the Shakti is Canvas !!!

Hindusim is termed as religion by westerns as they are used to this word, HINDUSIM is way of Life not exactly religion..

Coming to matter of Trinity, Hinduism as it is commonly known can be subdivided into a number of major currents. Of the historical division into six darsanas (philosophies), two schools, Vedanta and Yoga, are currently the most prominent.
Classified by primary deity or deities, four major Hinduism modern currents are
Vaishnavism (Vishnu),
Shaivism (Shiva),
Shaktism (Devi) and
Smartism (five deities treated as same).

It is humanly impossible to explain GOD, just as it is impossible to explain the universe.
However, from human intellect, He is the one from whom the brahman emerges, In whom it stays and within whim it goes back.

VISHNU/SHIVA/BRAHMA the trios famous known as TRINITY is one supreme being named differently and ppl from each current say their form of worship is the supreme God.

Vaishnavas say VISHNU is the God, Shaviahs say SHIVA is the God but infact what these ignorant followers don't realize is SHIVA & VISHNU whom they are referring is the same thing which has 2 different names..

I chose name VISHNU to make the ppl of another religion understand easily and not to confuse them with Shiva & Vishnu name n later say both of them are same..

FIRST, you need to understand that there exists no duality. BRAHAMMA-VISHNU-MAHESHWARA are only the three functions of Shiva(Supreme God).

Let me explain you with an example.
You are your mother's son,
sister's brother,
teacher's student,
an employee,
a boss....
however, you are one single source.
Similarly, Supreme God is one single source who is Formless, deathless, birthless, changeless, beyond sexes, beyond time.

* When Shiva creates he is-Brahamma.
* When he preserves, he is-Vishnu and
* When he destroys in order to reproduce, he is-Shankara.

All three are the functions of God but none explain him.
just as you are a son, brother, employee etc. No single function can explain you.

Lord Shiva/Vishnu has hundreds of name but at the end of the day, everyone will be referring to the same thing.
Based on the Geography, name which ppl use changes similar like how the name of same vegetable changes from place to place..

Let me end my writing by saying this.

Shiva is Mahadev - The Supreme God.

Śiva, meaning "The Auspicious One".
No one is above him.
he is the beginning and he is the end.
His existence is time immortal.
only he knows when did the time started and when it will end.
for his this attribute he is also known as 'MahaKaal'.

He is Aadi and Anant, one who is neither found born nor found dead.

Shiva means "the One who is eternally pure" or "the One who is not affected by three Guṇas (attributes) of Prakṛti (nature) - Rajas, Tamas and Sattava.
There is no single word in English language translation for the concept Guna .
The usual, but approximate translation is "quality" or "attribute".
