I think it's going to be different for each person but the foods in studies that commonly caused flares were cereal grains ( wheat esp), dairy and meat.
I had been GF for several years. I had a food allergy test and the results were so weird. I am sensitive to healthy things like apple, spinach, turmeric, ginger, chocolate, pumpkin, peppers, flaxseed, crab & a few other things. My point is everybody is different. I thought for sure I was not be able to eat meat or dairy, but that is not the case. For Thanksgiving I ate chocolate & I paid later,
Darlene Winter, my chiropractic. It is a blood test from your finger. The name of the lab is Alletess Medical Lab. My insurance didn’t cover it, it was about $295. You can ask your family doctor; my rheumatologist only deals w meds & his own blood test so he didn’t helped me with that.
I need to make a life style change with my diet. I have made a lot of changes lately. I stopped smoking 2 1/2 mi the ago. I have gained weight and have been in a lot of pain since I quit but it could be because I am earring everything in sight. I have to now bite this diet - life style change in the butt but I am not sure if I am ready yet.
i am thinking of the things which help. for me aloe vera both internal and external (make sure you get the one which doesnt have the fibrous part in it if you are going to drink it. leafy green veg anything i prepare myself from fresh ingredients oils i use are all cold pressed: Coconut, sesame, black seed, extra virgin olive and avocado not huge amounts of either. Mostly added after cooking. İ try to avoid making oil smoke so to roast i will put cut up veg in a bowl with a little olive oil salt and pepper then toss then put in baking tray I often can't cope with cutting stuff up though so i roast things whole a lot eg small kent pumpkin, large sweet potato, whole garlic bulbs (once roasted you can squeeze them to get a soft roasted garlic which makes a wonderful easy to use addition to sauces. Plus i will buy a premade bag of coleslaw and a box of sprouts a few times a week to use as a base for sauces etc rather than filling up on grains.
MSG!!! I even requested it Not be used. Not only a severe migraine but day 2 of flare. Usually can keep under control GF and fresh vegetables and tons of water
i am allergic to MSG and also to 220 which is a sulphur based preservative often used in dried fruit (if it is brightly coloured and somewhat squishy they have used 220) and is also used in red wine. İ get full on asthma attacks. But i hadn't considered if those things could also trigger RA.... İnteresting.
Ok, I’ve kept to myself bout this while I tested my theory. Lol, feeling like Bill Nye the science guy over here ..... But October 18th was the last time I took my Humira shot. Since then I’ve been juicing, cut out A-LOT, not all but a lot of processed foods. Lots of water. Eating way better than I use to because I didn’t really eat before. I’m resting better too. Today it is raining in Canada, and it’s the first time I’ve felt the burn in my fingers but oddly enough they aren’t swollen. I think that’s a huge ... HUGE deal. So find a diet that you can be true to and giver chicka, I wouldn’t advise anyone to stop taking their meds, I did it to test my limits and experiment.
You realize how much of it you eat when you can’t eat it anymore. But man it’s nice not taking those meds the past few weeks, makes me Realize how crappy they make me feel, but yet they keep the pain away. Strange.

For me, the more raw veggies I eat, the better I feel.
It's different for everyone. The big one, however, is gluten. Grains cause an inflammatory response.
I eat Paleo. This works best for my body. Red meat is a non issue if it's grass-fed.
Lisa MacBeth Why the angry face?
Yoli Cisneros Oh, oopsies, my toddler nabbed my phone. So sorry, No angry.
I was like, uh oh, she hates Paleo? Lisa Elmore
Gluten dairy n sugar
I avoid gluten, sugar, and beans. I follow a ketogenic diet which helps with my fatigue.

who tested you? I would be interested in doing this, but not sure how to go about it.

Organic leafy greens
Not necessarily, my tests showed I am allergic to spinach. So weird.
I was vegan and I was in a constant flare. Now on keto and lost weight and feel better.
Every BODY is different ...
Organic leafy greens, at least 10 cups a day in a smoothie
Not necessarily, my tests showed I am allergic to spinach. So weird.
Kale, swiss chard, romaine, arugula or any others? Would have to tailor to your needs.
Kristen, so far I am ok with other leafy organic greens. I definitely have to tailir to my needs. I do miss my spinach
Yeah that is hard, I love spinach, but am starting to really like kale!
Spinach ONLY works for me when it is in a smoothie with papaya.
No processed foods
