Is this it's own brand or is that the herb?

Samantha Larsen 3 years

Evening primrose oil, maca, chaste tree berry, good natural b vitamins, get rid of sugar, magnesium. Do some research for hormone balancing herbs online.

Jodi Johns

Thanks so much - I've tried chaste tree and it made me breakout immediately and gave me headaches so I stopped it

All the hormones our body produces are made from phytosterols which we get from what we eat. Unfortunately most modern diets (even if you eat healthy) are low in phytosterols and therefore our body has to prioritise which hormones to make. This and other factors then push our hormones out of balance. The first thing I would do is increase your phytosterol intake. Would you like me to send you a message with a list of foods which are higher in phytosterols and s bit more info on them? I also have a link to a webinar on "Happy Hormones Naturally" that I can send as well.

Ruth Mann

Yes that would be great thank you

Samantha Larsen 3 years

Samantha, I have sent you a message, it may go to your message request folder.

Is this something that can be done to get pregnant? I know OP said no birth control. I am also against birth control, but I want another baby. With PCOS everything is out of whack

Sapphire Rainey 3 years

sapphire, I can't say that it will necessarily help you get pregnant, but it certainly wont hurt. When we are talking about nutrition, we cant say it will treat xyzdisease or illness but we know that phytosterols are needed to have a balanced hormone system and we know that the majority of people do not get enough in their current diets. Improving our nutrition doesnt directly treat the disease or illness but it gives our body the nutrients to heal itsel like it was designed to do. If I was you I would give it a try, it cant hurt and I would also have a look at glyconutrients.

Grains and dairy are also hormone disrupters.. And soy.. So avoid those! And I agree with a lot of the other tips above

Danielle Michel

Yes soy is sooooo bad!!!

Liz Pagan 3 years

I do my best to be free of all these

Samantha Larsen 3 years

Liz Pagan It's too bad! I actually like the taste of tofu!

Sonja Kirk 3 years

So much good info. I'd love the info you kindly messaged also.

Nancy Gagne

soy, gmo plastic, the microwave.. Stop eating seafood and careful of sneaky soy such as tvp

Brett Cramer
B

The microwave kills nutrients is that why ?

Samantha Larsen 3 years

no.. Microwave super heats plastic and forces chemicals into the food your heating. Most people use plastic micowave containers. İ should head my own advice.. My testosterone is only 8.5

Brett Cramer 3 years

Oh I do not use plastic in a microwave

Samantha Larsen 3 years

Do you have a local health food store? That's where I go for everything.

Liz Pagan
L

Yes I do I may just wind up there

Samantha Larsen 3 years

Samantha Larsen that would be your safest place to buy and ask questions.

Liz Pagan 3 years

Liz Pagan okay in may just go back after all this anyway lol

Katie Brock

It sounds like this mostly lowers cortisol...

Sonja Kirk 3 years

I take it at night to relax, but I don't notice much.

Sonja Kirk 3 years

Yes, but high cortisol lowers testosterone, progesterone and estrogen.

Katie Brock 3 years

I sure do, but I have hypothyroid and after years of synthroid, my adrenals were shot. I finally have my sex drive back.

Katie Brock 3 years

Katie Brock oh! I have hypothyroid! Does this mean I should focus on things like holy basil? I have it

Clarey Sage EO

Jodi Patterson
J

What does EO mean?

Sonja Kirk 3 years

Sonja Patterson I think essential oil - just ordered it yesterday

Samantha Larsen 3 years

Kick out the toxic chemicals in your personal care products, cleaning products. Make your own ditch the chemcial filled makeup. Hair dyes, fingernail polish. All commercially produced items like that contains chemicals thay mimic estrogen in the body... They are called xenoestrogens. Some of the names are BPA, parabens, sodium lauryl sulfates..... Read your labels and know what you are putting on your body. This will make a big difference in your hormone balance. I use Progressence Plus eo for me personally to help balance the progesterone and estrogen in the body and have had really good results.

Christina Sheffield
C

I only use 100% pure items now I switched about 6 months ago

Samantha Larsen 3 years

That's great! Keep it up. It will make a huge difference in your health in the long run

Christina Sheffield 3 years

Have you had a hormone test, samantha? Because how do you know which hormone you are trying to reduce? If estrogen, reduce dairy and no soy.

Sonja Kirk

Fruit extracts.

Eliminate EMFs and use essential oils.

Lacey Cisneros

Which oils, please?

Sonja Kirk 3 years

So many options. There are lots of hormonal balance blends. Google and Amazon are very helpful. My mom likes Progressence Plus. Also, if you can find a trusted oil lady, she'll be priceless. Mine is Maddie. Best of luck.

Hi kelly, see my comment above about phytosterols.

Ruth Mann 3 years

Progesterone plus serum helped a postmenopausal woman quote "gave me my marriage back." She dropped weight, boost of sex drive, and the hot flashes stopped.

Evening primrose oil and red raspberry tea are what worked for me. Especially the oil. I swear by it!! It helped me like no other. I don't cramp on periods anymore

Heather Felix
H

How do u take it

Samantha Larsen 3 years

And did it help skin ?

Samantha Larsen 3 years

Red raspberry is a hormone balancing tea. You can take while pregnant, nursing, or when you're neither. I'd drink a quart a day of that tea. Evening primrose oil I started with 1 tablespoon a day and then worked up to two. I took the liquid form. No capsules. I bought it on http://bulkapethecary.com/ it really worked for me. I had bad acne all my life, and very painful periods. This has changed my whole life. I can go without makeup now and feel confident and comfortable. My periods are now light and I don't cramp. Be consistent and take everyday and you'll see results. Stay off sugar as much as possible

Heather Felix 3 years

Wow okay, do u have a preferred brand of primrose?

Samantha Larsen 3 years

Serenity, natural progesterone can help.
