Natural ways to boost fertility?

Natural ways to boost fertility? I’ve had a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy in the year my husband and I have been trying for a baby. I’ve been checked out and no one can explain my issues or apparent infertility. I’m on prenatals, am not overweight, I exercise, and have cut down on caffeine etc. I am under a lot of stress.. But I have anxiety disorder so I’m never not going to be stressed out. Hah I had no issues getting pregnant in the past, as I fell pregnant while very young and on birth control. I’m 29 now. After the miscarriage and then the ectopic I’m losing hope.

Please get checked for MTHFR gene mutation

Thanks! I’ll look into this.

Good luck. I just know it’s tied to fertility and miscarriages. I have one copy and haven’t had any issues with fertility or keeping the baby. Sorry for your losses and what you’re going through

Rebecca Keyes 3 years

Yes this and blood clotting disorders

The list goes on and on.

Rebecca Keyes 3 years

Yes I was going to say MTHFR!

Anxiety can stem from gut health. If you have gut health issues then your insulin levels can be off causing hormone issues.

I'm a holistic healthcare practitioner. This is the root cause of a lot of women's infertility issues.

My hubby and I started trying 10 months ago. We got pregnant right away, but sadly had a miscarriage as well. Then it took us 6 months to get pregnant again. I realized I was trying too hard. Once I calmed down and stopped thinking about it 24/7 The next month we were pregnant. Going strong now at 10 weeks along. Sometimes it's our mind. Good luck, and don't stress.

I'm sorry but as someone that's dealt with infertility, "stop stressing and it will happen" is one of the most aggravating things to hear. Like it is our fault we can't get pregnant.

Alisha Russell 3 years

If you read that is exactly what happened to me so don't try to tell me stress can't effect it. Also, try some research it's a proven fact. Oh, and others on this thread have said the same thing, so clearly it's happened to others. I'm sorry you struggled with infertility, but don't take it out on me.

Tandra Lancaster 3 years

I’m just a stressed person. I’m never not going to be stressed. İt’s a well meaning statement to keep faith though.

Nicole Pritchett 3 years

It seems you edited to add to your post, or maybe some of it didn't show for me. I did not see any of the parts about stress. If you have an anxiety disorder, then yes, you won't be able to just not be stressed. Also, you can check for pcos. I don't know much about it, but heard it can be more difficult to conceive. Also my mom had trouble conceiving me and went to a specialist. They discovered she was too acidic and the sperm was dying before reaching the egg. Just a thought.

Tandra Lancaster 3 years

Tandra Lancaster thank you! I will talk to my doctor!

I guess I’m not sure what that means? I definitely pray about it often.

Took me a year to get pregnant I had a miscarriage then took exactly one more year to get pregnant. Had my son 13 months ago. Been trying for another ever since we could again. It will happen soon. Just keep trying don’t give up sometimes it takes time.

Stop drinking milk immediately. The hormones from the "nursing" cow prevent conception. And, take horsetail herb. Research horsetail and fertility.

Haley Kim 3 years

I mean I apparently can get pregnant since I had a miscarriage and an ectopic. But it took 6 month to fall pregnant for the miscarriage and 10 more when I discovered the ectopic. My husband hasn’t been checked out yet.

Look into the mthfr thing for sure, related to that is a person with mthfr issue to not be able to properly use folic acid. Look for methylfolate so your body can use properly. I’ve also read about iodine being a huge factor for a lot of women. Hold on I have a link on that

Have you had him tested fertility issues?

Lindsey Wiley
L

He hasn’t been tested yet. That’s my next plan of action. I did fall pregnant twice - one miscarriage and one tubal/ectopic. So I know we potentially can get pregnant.

Our food, air, water, medicines and vaccines are all full of toxins. I would eliminate GMOs for sure as there are studies that point to infertility in animals who are fed GMO feed. I think the more you boost your immune system and strengthen your body through organic nutrition the more likely you are to boost your fertility. Just my two cents worth...

My husband and I were trying for over a year without success, we also tried Ivf, nothing.. At this point I stopped stressing about getting pregnant, started taking care of myself, exercise, fertility shakes, Acupunture and also used YS Royal Jelly/Honey Bee/Bee Pollen... We decided to try ivf again because I was told by doctors I was old and didn’t have many eggs left and couldn’t get pregnant on my own so while I was waiting for my period to arrive to start the meds, it didn’t come because i was pregnant... My first was born full term and a year later I was pregnant again without even trying.... Find an Acupunture who specializes in pregnancy and def try the Bee pollen jelly, it helps making more healthy eggs

I had several miscarriages related to my thyroid TSH levels, I wasn't producing enough to maintain a pregnancy.

You need to mediate, ride horses, or do yoga! You’ve got to get the anxiety under control

Danielle Kirkland
D

It’s as under control as it can be. I do everything I can. I have severe panic disorder. I take medication and try to actively exercise and relax. I’ve been hospitalized for it in the past. My attacks come out of nowhere. I’m probably the least anxious I’ve been in years. Although after the terrible scare with my ectopic pregnancy I’ve been more anxious again.

Nicole Pritchett 3 years

maca, progesterone, some kind of bad estrogen remover like DIM

Jeremy Alvarado

My progesterone was actually good during my ectopic pregnancy. I had to get shots of methotrexate to deplete my folic avid levels to end the pregnancy in my Fallopian tube. This was in October. I’m now taking folic acid supplements .

Really? I can try that! I definitely can not afford to lose any weight though.

Look up Bulletproff fertility

Stop drinking milk. The hormones of the cow who is "nursing" impact fertility and also horsetail! Look up horsetail!

Haley Kim

I drink soy milk. But I definitely eat cheese etc.

Nicole Pritchett

Stop drinking Soy, its probably the worst thing ever

Heather Caudill 3 years

Soy is a fertility inhibitor. Just eat healthy - lots of vegetables little meat if you eat it. I would highly recommend reflexology once a week for 4 weeks and then twice a month. A good reflexology st will pick up any issues, know when you are ovulating etc. The quickest result I had was a client pregnant by her 3rd appt. Goodluck and try not to worry x

Nico Padgett 3 years

Yes, soy is a goitrogen and thus impairs thyroid function.

Thank you! I think my folic acid levels are okay. I take vitamins and prenatal supplements with folic acid.

I know folate is different from folic acid do some research, or maybe seek a naturopath to see other deficiencies that's causing miscarriages. Sending prayers

Velma Higgins 3 years

It should say low folate. When ingesting folate outs bodies turn it into folic acid. Anyone taking folic their bodies are missing s key step. Folic acid is synthetic and not good for anyone

Rebecca Keyes 3 years

Thank you Rebecca Keyes, I highly agree!

Shatavari (asparagus root) is good.

Take a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in water every day. This is a great fertility booster and will also help to ensure a healthy pregnancy and child. Also supplement with Lugol's iodine.

iodine helps to balance progesterone and estrogen. But it needs time and enough iodine to work. My daughter in law had such severe endometrosis polycystic ovarian disease that the medical system had had her in menopause for over 3 years (she was 20 when I met her) plus over 20 surgeries as well. After taking high dosing iodine and using whole food co-factors (most recommend synthetic forms) all symptoms are gone and all medications / prescriptions are gone as well. She was told she had 5% chance to get pregnant and less chance of carrying the baby. She got pregnant & was so healthy was able to have the baby at home and is pregnant again. For anxiety try 12foru adrenal tincture & anxiety tincture sampler pack. All herbal based... Combinations of adaptogens work better than singles

Reiki can help in many ways, the most obvious being that it aids deep relaxation, as stress can be part of the problem. Reiki also helps to rebalance on a deeper level. Worth investigating and a lovely treatment for you both. Good luck!

Hello look up and research Maitake mushrooms. They are really good for women who have miscarried and have fertility issues.
