I recently cleared mine up quickly by using silver I soaked one of those makeup pads in silver and laid in on my eyes squeezing it ever now and then it helped sooth them and it was gone in a few days
I keep some on hand always I know it's a holiday here but there are lots of places that carry it maybe just a cool water compress untill you can get some? Remember to use something disposable or a clean towel each time
THIS. My three year old son's pink eye just cleared up yesterday and I did this exactly, plus held cooled chamomile tea bags under his eyes a few times just to relieve some itching in between the drops.
I was wondering what the point of the salt even was but every good source I found through Google had the salt in it so I just followed the herd so to speak lol
Typically it's around 15-20 drops per one ounce of oil. Because it's near the eye and they are little, I would personally lower it to 10 drops. Coconut or olive oil are both great to use. Water should never be used
About 70% to 80% of pink eye is viral and will clear on its own within 3-7 days. You could do warm compress for iritation. But other than that i would recommend breastmilk if you have it
I didn't time it I just asked my son to put it on his eye and then did the honey bath on his eye. I couldn't believe how quickly an eye he couldn't open was healed.
This is what worked for us when breast milk, CS and nothing else worked. Warm sea salt water. So soothing and takes any itch away too. Warm sea salt water in the eyes every 2 hrs and the next day the infection will be gone. This even worked fast for my daughter who's eyes were completely shut she had it so bad. Doesn't burn either. You can try it on yourself first.
no i put drops in. If you drop some right at the corner of their eye by their nose it'll run in when they open their eyes. If it's warm it feel very nice.
Cheapest and easiest: Hot moist compresses at least twice a day. The rag can also be moistened using sea salt water, or pink Himalayan salt water.... Needs to be about "normal saline" strength, or about 2 rounded teaspoons per quart of pure water. Otherwise, we've simply used colloidal silver, at least 30 to 45 ppm., dropped onto eyes once or twice a day.... Has worked or our kids, us, and various cats [a common source of pink eye]. ~C
Gotta treat that fast
Colloidal silver, make sure it's a good one
Coconut oil or breast milk. The Soverign Silver colloidal silver felt scratchy in my sons and my eyes
Yes that's exactly why I said it needs to be a good quality one

I was wondering what the point of the salt even was but every good source I found through Google had the salt in it so I just followed the herd so to speak lol
