Natural remedies for ant bites

My babe just stepped on an ant farm & they got her good what can I put on it? I put Tea Tree oil & Lavendar oil already but theyre getting swollen so Im worried

If it is really itchy - I would put rubbing alcohol and tooth paste. - i know it sounds weird but it always works for me.

this is what we always do!! Soak a wash cloth in Vinegar and wrap around the ankle

Im really shocked at ppl saying alcohol. Shes only 1, isnt alcohol kinda harsh & not natural? I could be wrong but Ive never put alcohol on my kids

the only thing i can thing of is "cell food" they make a gel i think as i just put the liquid drop on a spider bite i have - it's stings as it full strength but i am an adult - the cream/gel is not as strong

I don't know if this will work for ants- but it always works for mosquito bite itching for us: Apply heat to the area- as much as is almost uncomfortable. For myself I apply the heated back of a spoon on the bite. For my kiddo Iv applied a wash cloth soaked in hot/warm water.. Iv also heated his bitten areas with intermittent heat from the hair dryer. It takes the itching away instantly.

Fire ants inject acetic acid, the damage is done quickly. Applying a gentle alkaline substance (baking soda, the juice from many plant leaves..) ASAP is the best. It's not really that bad.

Soaking her foot/feet in warm epsom salt will draw out any infection, bring down swelling, stops the itch, heal. Hope she feels better soon!!

So glad it is looking better and localized. Baking soda paste is all I would do for this and only if they are hurting or itching (water/bakingsoda).
