For dinner tonight = hallibut, butternut squash/white potato mash, mixture of veggies ( I made freezer baggies of these - brussel sprouts, cauliflower, asperagus, broccoli, and spinach I just pull out a bag of veggies and don't have to decide on which one to have LOL ) , salad -( lettuces, red cabbage, red onion, celery, black olives, hard boiled egg, applecider vinegar and flax seed oil) a dill pickle, tea and water and supplements. This was a lot of food and I feel very full tonight. Took out some frozen fruit smoothie for desert later on.
Do u use oil on your veg. Or salads.
stephanie , Flax seed oil / apple cider vinegar with a pinch of Italian seasoning. For salad. On veggies, I boil or steam, pink salt, pepper and maybe a dab of Kerrygold butter. (Mostly am dairy free, I sparingly use this grass fed butter)
Ginny Cordova. Thank you so much
Really, I think we’re all different. For me, red meat seems to cause the most inflammation so I try to avoid as much as possible. I do lots of chicken dishes, veggies, fruits, etc. And water. Lots of water.
Sounds like me.
Same here, red meat it is no for me
I can have red meat if it is organic.
Anything organic. For protein I eat mostly wild caught seafood. I have never been much of a meat eater but when I do it has to be fed organic too. My issue is with glyphosate.
Today I had a cherry and yogurt smoothie for breakfast. A rice cake with banana and peanut butter for snack. Roasted chicken breast, corn and made potatoes for lunch, and eggs, potato rosti with sour cream, bacon and grapefruit for dinner. Enjoying some grapes with my son for dessert now.
You have alot. That's wonderful
Not really, I'm supposed to be losing weight but fell off the wagon this week. LOL!
Today... Kale, Spinach, Almond butter, banana, chia, cbd oil smoothie for breakfast...... small chicken salad for lunch...... Salmon, mash sweet potatoe, broccli and carrots for dinner.... For snacks during the day, fruits and brazilian nuts.
Lots of leafy greens with wild caught salmon. Nuts are a daily treat.
Breakfast is always 2 cucumbers peeled and sliced... Exciting stuff
Eggs and bacon
Most days I fast.
Only turkey bacon for me!
I eat porridge for breakfast with a 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon 'real' honey, not one that has been blended and messed with. Lunch could be cheese and coleslaw and a 'live' yogurt or an apple. Or egg. Dinner could be meat or fish or chicken with veggies and no potatoes at the moment. All my foods are organic. Snacks if hungry can be a small square of cheese or half a banana or a square of 70% dark choc lots of cups of tea i use A2 milk in my tea. Since the change of NO processed foods at all I have felt a difference. I have less flares just now and i hope it stays that way. My AIP recipe book has just arrived so i will read this and see if i can improve on my diet. Good luck to everyone it is a slow process with the diet changing but it is the best way to go. I don't mind if it takes a few months if i am feeling some improvements to how i feel and the flares etc.... It is way better for me than taking lots of medications. I do take Vitamin D every day. Do exercise: 2 times per week in the Gym and walking as much as i can. Thinking positive is good for everyone.
For breakfast I like to have gluten free oatmeal or I'll eat some of my own backyard chickens eggs. I like to stay away from milk.
