Mine did I am on methylprednisolone for the swelling and Methotrexate for the RA.
Prednisone is the only thing that helped me when they were like that
Me too, Lina
Oh I do not like Prednisone it did nothing for my pain and I hate the side effects I ate everything in site I was angry and I cried at a drop of a hat. The Methylprednisolone I don't have those side effects and the first day I took my first dose my swelling went down in half and no pain when I went to sleep
Feel better
Thank you
Mine were swollen too but within about three months of following AIP paleo the swelling went away and so did the knee pain. Hang in there!
Hope get to feeling better soon. Prayers for you
Acupuncture

Millicent Doss yogurt
The only thing im not doing is a pro biotic.
Definitely change your diet
Meds helped me deal with pain, but led to other issues. Diet and exercise have been more helpful in the long-term for me. Remember to take care of your WHOLE self, and be well. Yes. Rest when you need rest. Time heals these flares.
Yes. My pain/inflammation last like 3 days per joint
Dr drained mine and never had problems since
Yea mine was drained 3 times and kept coming back until I did prednisone and then when I was off that it came back again and now I am on Methylprednisolne
Elizabeth Huffman so sorry hopefully methyprednisone will help.
Paula Shannon oh is has I just hope the swelling stays down
Accuponture I'm on my third treatment & it's amazing
Does he put the needles on your knee?
brenda yes. I've been in pain for about two months. I had excruciating pain in left knee but I was having pain in my ankles knees shoulders neck & hands. I'm taking humira naproxen hydroxycloroquine so my doctor added methylprednisolone. Still could barely walk needed a cane. I decided to try Accuponture & I was still feeling better one day horrible the next even with drinking all my meds. Saturday she put Needles in my knees & wrists and put a heat lamp on left knee. My left knee hurt like if someone was drilling the bone I sucked it up. When I got out of there no pain in the bones but only sore muscles around knee. I also started drinking the arthritis green smoothie. I'm trying everything to be pain free.
I hope you get relief soon Sandra Pitts
So sorry about that but it will surely pass n ur leg will be it normal /regular size. Just take ur meds rightly n have enough rest as well.
Yes try Accupunture
I have the same problem too, n it sucks. I'm looking into Acupuncture cause I heard it helps. I've been on crutches for a yr and hope n pray I'll get to walk soon without them.
I'm using a cane knee swelling pain balance and coordination problems not fun. But hopefully it will be better
Yea I have been using a crutch since the beginning of april
Have you tried vitamin B12? Is the only thing that worked for me!
I went in a couple times and just had them remove the built up fluid. Does not take long and it is easy to do and makes it feel so much better. Worth a shot asking your provider if they will do that. Leaving it swollen and full of fluid is not good because then you start to compensate for it and can actually do other damage in the process.
They always do, but u might need medicine on that. I take MTX.
Ya the swelling comes and goes as well as the pain
