HELP ME PLEASE I have ringworm really really bad. Its in over twenty spots on my body. I have tried borax, it made it worse. I have tried creams. For months, they've done nothing. Also tried some oils. I am now on an oral treatment that is hazardous to my liver!? & putting clear nail polish on all the spots. Please help me. I have two small children and I'm so scared they'll get it too. Is there anything else I can do???
Apple cider vinegar
Jock itch cream/antifungal cream. If that doesn't clear it up in three or four days you have something other than ringworm, I work at animal shelter seen it, had it. It clears up quickly.
I got tested and the said its fungal but I've used two differently creams, they didn't work
Tea tree oil also
Mix some tea tree oil into coconut oil. It cleared mine within days
A friend told me a bicarb bath worked when her kids were little and had it.
Nevermind natural to cure ringworm. I have found them to be not powerful enough in many cases to kill ringworm fast. Here is the sure fire way to get rid of ringworm and it is not a harmful medicated cream. Go to the foot section of your local pharmacy (or yeast infection section) and get something called Chlortrimazol. It is a powerful broad spectrum anti fungal cream that kills ringworm. In very short order too. It actually says it is good for ringworm right on the box usually. I cleared up a case of ringworm in under a week with it. It took only about 3-4 days.
^^That's what I said. Agree 100%
Oh did you? I missed that. Good stuff huh? I swear by it.
We keep it on hand at the animal shelter. I cleared a spot overnight because I caught it right away.
That's why I like it, it's fast. My Mom just recently had a mystery fungus that was driving her nuts on her legs. We tried a natural gel that I really like, which is quite powerful and it failed to clear it up. It helped, but did not cure it. So, I told her to get the Chlortrimazol and it was cured in a matter of a few days. She also used in on her dogs and it cleared up their's too, in very short order.
I had one spot on my thigh years ago, that was the size of a silver dollar. Grapefruit seed extract cleared it up in no time!
I can see why you would use it in an animal shelter. Animals are notorious for carrying fungi. Especially Ringworm.
That's how I learned about Ringworm, was from a Butcher. He said he got it all the time from handling meat/animals. He recognized it right away and told me about Chlortrimazol.
I have heard that Grapefruit seed extract is quite powerful Dee Ashby. Never tried it, but I have heard great things about it. It can even be used internally for fungi and bacteria too.
For sure. It addresses candida & is included in many candida cleanse kits.
Yes it does kill Candida. Quite a few things do actually.
Anything alkaline kills Candida. It hates alkaline conditions and loves acids.
And is great for cleaning, in place of bleach. Will kill superbugs too!
Hmmm, really? Now that is truly versatile. Wow.
I used bleach n clear nail polish. Bleached several times a day. Painted. Later peeled it off n started over. İt was gone within a week
thank you all. I will try everything I can. I've had this for like six months and nothing's worked
Read my comment below... Tanning bed will cure it in a few visits. Its not natural but was all that worked on me
what all did you try before going tanning? Just curious
Black walnut oil cleared it up next day! Amazing stuff.
Be sure it's ringworm and not Lyme the rash can look similar
She said she got tested & it was fungal
Oh ok good didn't see that part
Can it go away on its own
Usually no since it's a fungus
Clamitrozol or however it's spelled. It's an antifungal. Cleared up my sons within a day
Crush fresh garlic and leave it on the spot for 10 mins and repeat four times a day. Try to keep a bandaid or clothing over the ring worm so it doesn't spread. Wash your sheets often
Iodine. And garlic. The garlic didn't work as well on it's own for this last time I was treating this, but with iodine, gone fast. Five kids=lots of experience with all kinds of exciting things...
My dermatologist told me to put eucalyptus oil on it 4 times a day
Water with bleach mixture .... Dab it on daily
Bicarbonate soda large tablespoon in your bath and nettle tea make a cup with two bags, pour that water into your bath, should start seeing am improvement in 2 days, keep doing it for a week to make sure you've got it all
Apple cider vinegar has worked for me! Just apply some on the infected area a few times per day until it's gone!
It's a fungal infection... Coconut oil, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic, oregano oil, etc
Raw garlic with band aids it might burn but it worked for a family member of mine
Was it diagnosed as ring worm? I had a rosea something or other years ago & hitailed it to the Dr thinking it was ringworm. It wasn't and went away on its own.
yes it is fungal
6 months is a long time. Extra virgin coconut oil, iodine, collidal(sp) silver, tea tree oil, grapefruit oil extract, epsom salt. If these havent worked then i would consider seeing a holistic doctor maybe.... Sending good vibes that you get it cured asap♡♡♡
What oils have you tried? Have you tried oregano oil in coconut oil?
Tea tree oil
I had it for months and had about 60 seperate spots. I tried everything i finally went tanning... 3 times and it was completely gone!
Iwas on the pills for 30days. It didnt help at all (and thankfully ive never had any issues with my liver from it)
oh my gosh. I'm going to try when I finish this pill prescription. How long did young an for? I've never been tanning so what exactly do I need to do?
I tried 2different otc creams. 3prescription creams. And then the pill for it.
how long did you tan for at a time?
6min 3xs and mine cleared up. A friend who wrestled in highschool suggested it. I only put tanning lotion on my face.
I have tried tea tree, eucalyptus, oregano, and coconut oil.
I tried that, too. Iodine. Cheap & easy.
Where can I find it? How many times a day for I apply it?
Any drug store. Walmart. Cvs. Pretty much anywhere. My great aunt used it on everything when we were little. And she's still rocking it well into her 90s.
My daughter had terrible ringworm and the topical prescription medicine the doctor gave her kept making it worse! Horrifying! Then I found this propolis cream, a natural antibiotic and it cleared up in 3 days... Now we don't live without it and have one in every room. Also great for eczema, diaper rash, acne, cracked heels... https://shop.foreverliving.com/retail/shop/shopping.do?itemCode=051
Is this available in any stores? How bad was your daughters case? I'm just so upset, it's every where and it's just getting worse
It is not available in stores but ships two-day fed ex. Her ringworm was terrible and kept getting redder and redder with the prescription cream... I was so upset... This changed everything for us! It's all natural, no chemicals or toxins.
Did she get tested for ringworm? Was hers in one spot or did it spread? And how much did it cost you? Sorry for all the questions
Was just in one spot and doctor said it was ringworm. I'm sorry I didn't pay attention to costs, insurance covered the dr visit and I think the cream was around $20. It made it redder and redder and more inflamed... I kept taking her back in and he kept saying to put more of the cream on... So disturbing that I finally took matters into my own hands! Bi can't make medical claims on this product, just go with my own experience...
Tinactin works although not natural.
