Help. I am in a terrible flair due to eating wrong and stress. Is there a a fast detox that I can do to get back on track. Taking tumeric paste, magnesium and Omega oils. Any sugestions?
Cucumber and celery juice for a couple of days. Hope you feel better soon
Fasting can help, either juice, smoothie, water, etc. Dr Axe has videos on the power of fasting to reset your body. (Youtube)
Maybe add ginger tea as well.... And just eat extremely clean. No processed food. Take care. Hope you feel some relief soon
Water fast for a day or two!! Seriously I can walk by the end of the day almost pain free
I couldn't eat much after some antibiotics destroyed my gut a few months ago. I used the opportunity to do a food elimination diet to see what I reacted to most also. After the first few days I had barely any pain. Fasting resets the immune system.
I agree flush with water...
I’m starting my cleanse today. The pain is horrible. Gallon of water and juice and supplements for 5 -7 days. It’s works wonders.
i’ve never done a water or juice cleanse. Do you really drink/eat nothing but that? And do you live in the bathroom? LOL
Ha! Yes, I’m in the bathroom a lot. Every time I go to the bathroom I drink another bottle of water. I use that as my reminder to drink drink drink... The first day is the hardest but each day after gets better.
I was flaired up yesterday si i made a juice of pineapple celery ginger and lemon and i woke up today good no flair up hope that helps for you
Water, probiotics and charcoal. And more water.
Thanks for your comment. Can you tell me how much and brand charcoal? I took 5 doses of Arava and had a terrible flare from it, I gotta get it out!
Intermittent fasting. Go to YouTube, Dr. Fung or Dr. Berg.
Lemon water and rest for my flares, plus the turmeric. Hope you feel better soon.
Dr. Gundry’s 3 day cleanse works wonders ...!!
Thank you all. Gonna start fasting now and juicing with all the good stuff.
Is spinach or kale, celery, ginger and pinapple a good idea?
I do 75% spinach (kale is as good but stronger flavor). Then I add a half measuring cup of flax&/chia. Fill to top of greens with water. Fill to top of blender with fruit, I like pineapple, banana and apple. Blend for at least two minutes, more if needed. All of the ingredients you've mentioned are great
Try watching fat, sick and almost dead on Netflix. The guy is detoxing for his autoimmune disease... I'm inspired! I wasn't fat before my steroids... But dealing with that too now
Thanks Rowan Miranda
Processed foods that have lots of salt lead to more uric acid in our body. It can crystallize in joints and muscles. That's where gout pain comes from but it can affect us a lot too especially if we already have synovitis. Drinking a cup of hot water with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and a tablespoon of agave or other sweetener and some cinnamon helps. Just don't use honey. It increases immunity and will make flaring worse. Cinnamon is anti-inflammatory also.
Yes I don't eat any processed foods, no starch and sugar. But this weekend I ate starch and thus the big flare..... Stupid.
Potatoes take me out for 4-5 days just from a couple bites I used to eat them everyday
Aloe juice and rose petals are anti-inflammatory. Ginger comes in pills too. I take boswellia, holy basil and black seed oil. They modulate immunity. So do vitamin C and D.
Why do you take boswellia?
Boswellia gives me heart burn. It’s usually mixed in with the glucosamine/chondrotin supplements. It’s in Osteopath-Biflex. I can’t take it bc of that. I separate my glucosamine and chondroyin. I’m the only one I know of that boswella bothers.
1 liter of Green tea and lemon in morning drink throughout morning and peperment at from 6pm at night. That will fix you real quick .
Sleep and pain relief
I work in a key position in Corporate. So no taking off for me. I did a good 8 hours last night.
