Hi my son is 10 he has ADHD and he has ADD can ya'll please tell me how can help him control it and what I can do about his Diet please
Read "Healing ADD/ADHD" by Daniel Amen. Lots of non pharmaceutical treatment options. Worked wonders on my son. Followed the protocol for about 18 during his 3rd and 4th grade years and he no longer needed the supplements.
Eliminate red dyes and processed foods. See a chiropractor .
I’ve also heard to eliminate yellow dyes
Dr fiengold diet was designed for this. I used it for over 30 yrs of raising several ADD and ADHD kids along with homeopathy for mineral and vitamin balance and flower essences and acupuncture
Small amounts of caffeine can help- maybe a cup of black tea every morning. They prescribe stimulants to treat ADHD because they have the opposite effect when your brain is too hyper. My mom managed my brother’s ADHD with a shot of espresso every morning
I have read the cannabis oil is amazing for children with ADD/ADHD
Also suggest that if you have not done so already, get your son checked for heavy metals, which are linked to these issues.
Aww ok thank ya'll im trying find him a good doc
That would help me control it for him
Dairy makes my son wild, along with red dye and most processed foods.
And detox baths were a life saver for us!
Camomile and sunflower seeds promote calm clear thoughts. It helps.
Anything with potato starch can send them manic
Stop labelling normal childhood as a non-existant disease helps the best.
That’s a very bold statement. You don’t don’t know this mothers child. İf you don’t have suggestions. Move on
CBD oil I’ve seen it change lives
Remove all dyes and processed fake foods
Fruits, veg, nuts, seeds, herbs, chicken and fish, and heaps of water. I had to slowly get rid of anything that had preservatives and with many different avenues of help, I’ve learnt that visual tools help a great deal. Write down a list of things your son likes to do and can do when it’s getting too much, maybe talk with him about what it is that helps him when he is upset. Keep a consistent and simple routine for them to manage even if it’s as basic as just brushing teeth every day and then gets a reward that you’re happy with. Add gradual things to their level of management. It takes time and a lot of research to remove toxins from the body through whatever natural foods you can learn about.
remove all dairy, wheat, look at trigger items (food) E numbers. I found a Naturopath that helped my son a lot

Haven't seen comments. No vaccines. No dairy. Watch for dyes. No sugar and starch. And some kids are just kids. Maybe he needs more activity. It's been proven highly intelligent kids can get board very easily.

Also coffee might be good to kids with bad adhd It can calms them down The opposite to normal people with no adhd
You can’t have both. He has one or the other. For example, when a child with ADD drinks Caffeine, it makes him sleepy very fast. With ADHD when he drinks caffeine, he is hyper and full of energy. Which one is it?
Organic diet and drinks! Cut out all sugars and vote for natural organic sugars in fruit
I have add ad/hd had it my whole life diet is important cut out everything with red dye in it. Trust me red dye make add and ad/he way worst and can even make children angry. Blue green algae powder every morning and evening and CBD oil. It still works for me now.
Get rid of meat and dairy, need a clean diet
I had it my entire life.... I started collaging and that helped me a ton.... Then once I got to old for it.... Gardening.... Anything that slows me down and forces me to use effort & & my mind. Puzzle guru.... Anything that lets me organize is like therapy for me... Everybody is different tho. As long as he can burn out his energy and be creative at the same time is a win win.... Now I’m a photographer & I get paid to use these skills
I have no diet either.... İt’s hard to want to eat when there is no desire but my husband used the nutrabullet all the time and makes me pound a drink once in awhile because (even chunky after having kids) I malnourished extremely fast and it gets me faint and light headed all the time....
Juice plus. I’ve been giving it to all my kids and yesterday my second oldest (15) asked me “ mom, does that help like my body’s immune system? Because, not going to lie I feel better” lol I don’t sell it but I totally recommend it.
Cbd or kratom
Avoid caffeine and sugars, more activity- getting him r.n.ing and staying busy... Maybe yard work if possible.
Eliminate dyes, processed foods
Lots of exercise outdoors
Research Nemechek protocol
Vetiver EO has been proven to help.
A balanced diet plus addressing neurotransmitters with amino acid therapy and working on liver pathways is very important. An organic acids test is a great place to start
GAPS diet or Ketogenic diet. Homemade Kefir. Micronutrient balancing.
Have an experienced Naturopathic Physician check him for Gluten Intolerance. If necessary go Gluten free. Watch results in just 2 weeks ...
Lots of fresh organic/non GMO fruits and vegetables. Will he drink smoothies?
Would be nice if the Naturopath was also a Licensed Enzyme Therapist
