Diatamascious Earth or diluted tea tree essential oil, a few drops in Dawn usually works well, if you use diatamascious Earth get food grade and put it in her food for worms too

Michelle Jernigan

I hate dawn dish soap but I LOVE it to kill fleas and then a flea comb afterwards

Kelsey Weir

What do I do with that. Just rub it on him and comb it out

Rebecca Conrad 3 years

Will it kill the fleas

Brush with flea comb multiple times a day and make sure to dip the comb in soap water so fleas cant jump out. Sprinkle borax everywhere, carpets, couches, chairs to kill fleas and vacuum a few days later. My cat just had fleas and I got rid of them in a few days... My cat does not tolerate baths but this worked

Dawn dish soap

Diotomeceous earth and daily flea combing with dish soap.

I would give him a bath with blue dawn soap... But use a mild baby wash for his face... And brush with the flea comb 2 times a day... Until you dont see the fleas anymore. It works better than most flea medications anyway... When you use the comb, have a cup of hot water, with a little dawn soap mixed in it... After each brush, dip the comb in the hot cup of water.. It kills the fleas you caught in the comb immediately....

Just remember if she has scabs from itching certain things might sting. I agree with all of these though.

We just got a flea covered chiweenie a few of days ago. I SMOTHERED him in coconut oil and put him in his kennel for the night. The next morning I bathed him (oil would get all over everything). Not a flea since. They were all dead in his bed that morning.

I wet a baby washcloth and add some dawn dish liquid, and rub it on the tummy and the back of the head and neck where fleas go to, leave on for a minute and comb it. Then dry with a towel, the soap stays on the skin and kills the fleas.

Dawn has CHEMICALS

Terri Mcneill 3 years

Do the dish soap cleanse and diatomaceous earth around your house. Most people just get rid of the fleas from the animal but not in the surroundings where they still live/hatch.

Suraya Camacho

A bath with raw apple cider vinegar

Doris Goldberg

Diomataceous Earth food grade

Leila Hicks

Dawn dish soap is hardly a natural remedy. It’s an anionic surfactant that strips the oil off your kitten’s skin. Diatomaceous earth is a much better idea

Christine Kemp

Citrus and vinegar. Have an 8 week pup I rescued at 2 weeks. Not even a pound in her weight. I'm in animal rescue. I could use zero chemicals on her because of her compromised system.

Bath the cat sunlight soap or baby bath if you don't wanto use flea shampoo for kittens. Won't hurt them and a few drops of rosemary oil on a little collar or bedding. Also you can use salt and oats in the bedding

Rose geranium oil is a good deterrent. Perhaps put it on a scarf around its neck. Or I got "Billy no mates" from the pet store.

Also, place a mug, jar whatever with dish detergent and water and place it by a light. Attracts fleas (and flies) and they die. I don't care about their chemical consumption.

Terri Mcneill
T

Thanks everyone. The coconut oil is smothering and killing them. The lice comb is getting them all out.
