Use it daily almost. I drink it some to help with reflux. I use it as my conditioner and it kills the fungus that causes dandruff when massaged in the scalp. Letting it and water soak on my dog immediately after I bathed her it works as a conditioner and eases her itching, this is ESP good for dogs with allergies like mine. It's great for soaking dried beans in so that it reduces gas when you eat it. It's also good for itchy skin on people. Bud specifically if you are going to use it also buy Raw, organic apple cider. The difference is huge. My biggest mistake was one time when I first bought it I accidentally bought apple cider flavored vinegar which is just vinegar with artificial flavorings and instead of helping my reflux it made it way worse.
U drink it every day 3tbsp in a water bottle 3xs a day. I also take evening primrose oil 3xs a day. No pain and no inflammation. Been on it for almost 3 months now and I wean off all my rheumatoid meds. I want to go natural and try having a baby as well. It Doesn't work for everyone. Some people told me it's amazing and others said they were in more pain but didn't take it exactly the way I have been. But seems to work great for people with mainly rheumatoid. Talk to your Dr first.
kristen, I take Evening Primrose two weeks before my period. It helps me with breast tenderness and I don't get night sweats those two days before my period.
Kristen Boudreaux the primrose has really helped my monthly cycles. They are not as heavy anymore from the meds I was taking. It has also helped me a lot to reduce pms that I never used to have until I started taking all the rheumatoid meds. I had a lot of mood swings. They are gone and if I don't take it with the apple cider vinegar my body starts to hurt again. I take iron, biotin, vitE, and folic acid. My hair is finally filling in thicker and growing. I take supplements only now. Plus my diet consists of a lot of natural foods. İ have sushi a few times a month. Lots of avocado, no beer, no orange juice, no lemon, very little fried foods, very little tomato type foods. Lots of pineapple juice, some wine, and No prescriptions anymore. I was on Enbrel every week. I don't even take that anymore. I feel better now than I was on meds.
Thank you. I am looking into Biotin too. I am going to try the Primrose. I was reading that drinking pineapple juice and lemon juice, I guess, half and half of each, during your periods is supposed to help lighten it. I am going to try that too, since mine have been so heavy. Not fun. Hopefully the primrose will help too.
Folic acid and biotin have helped me a lot with my hair. Iron and evening primrose has helped me a lot with my periods decreasing the heaviness and With rheumatoid decreasing pain and the iron even boosts my energy. I won't take lemon or orange juice. They cause me to flare up. But the pineapple juice is a great alternative for me.
shae , did you find info about following a regimen such as yours? I want to heal naturally; I take a little shot of ACV a day, but not enough it seems. So Shae Estrada, do you take the 3 tablespoons in an 8 oz glass of water?
Yes I do Beverly Larkin. 3 times a day. With a pill of evening primrose 3xs as well. Morning noon and night. I just researched ACV and evening primrose oil online because I read they both have great benefits. Then tried them together.
Abhishek Bowden I take evening primrose oil and Apple cider vinegar. Both 3xs a day. Use as directed on the bottles. I drink 3tbsp in a water bottle and take 1 pill. Morning, noon and night. As far as I know its been working for people who have rheumatoid.
Hello all, my rheumatologist is planning to put me on biological medication since the methotrexate and is not helping me at all and having flare ups almost every day. I want to try natural remedies, so Shae Estrada is the apple vinegar and primrose oil can help? I'm new for this group and need your help! Thank you all
Najd Alabood, my rheumy says I'm maintaing and to keep up what I'm doing. I haven't had to go to methotrexate or biologics yet; still on sulfasalazine. I supplement with big doses of a pure fish oil (liquid form is good, then you don't have to take as many capsules) with 12mg of astaxanthin. I also takeZyflamend which contains many anti-inflammatory herbs. Be sure to get these from a trusted health food or vitamin shop.
I just started drinking about a tablespoon a day in water. Does anyone else feel like you smell like vinegar? It's making me a bit self conscious wondering if others can smell me.
Rachelle Denton it worked pretty fast for me. About a week before I weaned off my meds completely. If I miss a day or 2. I start to feel a little achy. But when I take it again I start to feel better that same day.
Najd Alabood, it's helped me tremendously! But you have to take it daily. With the primrose and a suggestion of fish oil as well. I know personally of a few people with rheumatoid who have tried it and after a week or so, they feel so much better. I was on all those meds. I have severe rheumatoid. I've been on 40mg a day of Prednisone and 8 pills a week of mtx and vit d and folic acid. Then I was on Sulfasalazine and Plaquenil and Enbrel shots once a week. My body started to build resistance to it so my rheumatologist wanted to put me on infusions. I did a lot of research online and figured I try this out. And it works for me. I wanted to get of the meds for many reasons. I was having a lot of mood swings and depression. It was too much for me. Plus I want to try to have a baby soon. So I'm preparing my body for that now. But I feel great... No more depression and mood swings. No more pain and inflammation. Better than I felt on all those meds.
Crystal Lara make sure you are using the right type of ACV. I've never had complaints of my body smelling like vinegar. It actually has many cleansing properties for ur body inside and out. Very healthy. Try it with evening primrose oil 3xs a day. Taking high grade fish oil is an extremely beneficial supplement for people with rheumatoid as well. I've been off all meds for 3 months. I feel great! Make sure u talk to ur Dr about it also.
I drink a shot of it every morning.
Does it reduce pain
It can. I use a lot of supplements. ACV has many, many health benefits, it sure won't hurt to try it.
I have used it for skin and hair. It is supposed to have many benefits.

Shae Estrada how has the primrose worked for you? I have thought about that for my hair, seems to be thinning some, once I stopped meds.

I just started drinking about a tablespoon a day in water. Does anyone else feel like you smell like vinegar? It's making me a bit self conscious wondering if others can smell me.
No one has ever mentioned I smell like vinegar... You are probably just worrying too much over that.
Rachelle Denton it worked pretty fast for me. About a week before I weaned off my meds completely. If I miss a day or 2. I start to feel a little achy. But when I take it again I start to feel better that same day.
