I currently researching this.

A friend of mine had cancer and he would drive to Mexico to get bitter almonds and avocado pits and he would eat them daily... He was cured of his cancer without ever receiving chemo or radiation.

First.... I am not advocating this... As cancer is known to spontaneously go into remission without any sort of treatment. So I can't and won't say b17 is a cure.

Second ... Eating the US versions of almonds... Apricots and pitted fruit is pointless as they have been pasteurized or something to remove the healing properties.

The B17 vitamin is a form of cyanide. ... So it must be taken in correct doses or it could kill you. That is one reason it is banned here. It is also not meant for preventive measures!

I'm still learning and looking at all angles.... I hope it turns out to be what it promises to be!

Very, very interesting information there Regina Connolly. Thanks! I just finished watching "The truth about Cancer - a global quest" and both the apricot kernels and B17 was mentioned there.

I can only repeat what Darlene Katanic said: Before trying anything "different", it is crucial that you discuss it with a doctor - a specialist - first. Doing it on your own can actually do much more harm than good, and long before your time. It is great to be educated concerning options, but you have to be smart about it as well.

I only asked if anybody had tried this not meaning people should go and do it. I was just curious as have read loads of good testimonies about this.

My mother in-law has stage 4 lung cancer.
She has done her radiotherapy and has been on her tablets for a month.

I spoke with her doctors and asked them if she could do the following and they said no problem.
She has a wheatgrass shot once a day, bicarbonate soda via a nibuliser 3 times a day and eats 3 apricot kernels. Like her doctors said to us these things won't do any harm to her.
When you are faced with such an uphill battle I say throw everything At it.

There is a reason doctors do not mention apricot kernels ... Nor should they be able to say yes or no to your inquiry. ... Because if they tell you you can safely take them or if they recommend them.... They must fill out a form and turn it into the FDA... And this means they are on the watchlist.

Recommending or even prescribing b17 will violate AMC policy and membership for the doctor will be removed ... Therefore hurting his career.

True enough. But there are also doctors that are willing to do just that - if they find that it might help the patient. And even if they can't do it themselves, they may be able to refer the patient to somebody who will. I am a strong believer in individual rights. We all have the right to be enlightened in this matter. If we are aware of alternatives, I feel we can make better decisions concerning treatment. But (there is always a but...) I also feel that with enlightenment come responsibility. A decision should be made together with a professional and should not be made only by the patient.
