You are lucky. Fatigue can cause it. Maybe not drinking enough water? I know that's hard sometimes, I forget. Blood sugar fluctuations. Sorry you r suffering.
I have low ferritin and don't absorb b vitamins well so sometimes that will cause dizziness. Also low hormone levels will cause it. I get that way around the time I start
Before diagnosed with ra I struggled with dizziness off and on for three years. I was given a diagnosis of benign positional vertigo. Basically for some unknown reason the crystals that help with balance get into the wrong area of my ear which causes dizziness. My grandmother had dizziness and ra. I certainly think there is a connection. For mine I see a hearing and balance dr. I get great relief from easy manipulation treatment, no meds!
I end it up with this too vertigo ... No meds.. Same crystal formation per my physiotherapist.. I did not take the meds my GP offered. I instead went for this one therapy where the physiotherapist does a series of tests to find which ear has the crystals and then she made me move these moves from one side to the other and I walked out of her office with no more vertigo. No pills needed. I've had it one more time two year later so I went to one more therapy and I am a happy camper once again. Not sure I can say that this was RA related.
Shantel Valenzuela it took several treatments for me and comes back a couple times per year. I am sorry to hear you didn't get relief. Dizziness is terrible!
Shantel Valenzuela some of the time I would almost fall off the table other times no dizziness at all. I can't do the exercises myself, I have to have the dr do the manual manipulation for me!
I've had dizziness before I was diagnosed but have psoriatic arthritis it was found by accident while the doc was trying to find why I'm always dizzy with very low blood pressure
I have had bouts of dizziness but also thought I was "dizzy" when really my vision was impaired and I didn't realize it because it made me feel out of sync.
I've been having a lot of dizziness lately. Had my first RA attack a few weeks back. It's awful! I would not be surprised if they were related. My blood pressure and iron levels are good. No meds here. If you find something that helps, please post! Good luck!
Check your cholesterol if you haven't already. I had a 3 month stint of vertigo 2 years ago and was diagnosed with vestibular neuritis from a sinus and ear infection. That was followed by 8 normal months, and then it returned, however I wasn't sick the second time so my doctor sent me to check my cholesterol, and it was really high, apparently that can cause dizziness.
Yes I do. The past 7 weeks have been terrible with dizziness. Scary!
It is isn't it?
Some meds can cause that.
I'm not on any : (

Thanks. I'm on leave so I'm not fatigued. My water intake hasn't been as high as usual so i will increase it and see how I go.

That is what they diagnosed me with but the exercises didn't work.

The Dr said that the exercises only work if you get dizzy while doing them. Was this the case for you?

So did the pa cause the dizziness orwere they unrelated?
Doc thinks it's un related. Nothing seems to stop it

Now I'm getting confused. I had my eyes tested late last year so it shouldn't be that. Thanks for the info.
Mine literally changed overnight because of the RA. I now have a blind/blur spot and didn't realize it at first.
So sorry to hear that
Low iron levels can cause dizziness and I believe those with RA are more prone to anaemia.
Thanks, i will increase my iron and see if it makes a difference
I suffer from dizziness but I have vertigo

The Dr said it was benign positional vertigo. He said to do exercises but they didn't help. They might help you

I've had it checked and it's fine. Thanks for the info though
Thanks everyone. This is such a great supportive group.
High cholesterol causes dizziness? New one on me.
