Utkarsh Your logic is wrong. You said if one had read Rigveda, he would not question Hinduism. It's like saying, if one had read the Bible, he would not question Christianity. Or, if one had read the Quran, he would not question Islam.

Utkarsh "Andhatama pravishanti ye asambhuti mupaste" "They enter darkness, those who worship the natural elements" (Air, Water, Fire, etc.). "They sink deeper in darkness, those who worship sambhuti." [Yajurveda 40:9] Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol, etc.

Man use ur brain ... Ya it denies the idol worshiping.. But for our compulsion our loving god has allowed us to worship the idol which is the minimum truth.. N the maximum is worshiping without idol okay... Hope u got it... Again saying god himself told us n given the freedom to worship idol... Okay.. Dont think In Quran ways.. Okay

ashutosh . The Rigveda and Yajurveda are very CLEAR and STRAIGHTFORWARD in prohibiting the worship of anything, anybody, any entity other than God.

2. Take note of the EMPHASIS, the STRONG WARNING against worshipping idols, creation, etc.

"Andhatama pravishanti ye asambhuti mupaste"
"They enter darkness, those who worship the natural elements" (Air, Water, Fire, etc.). "They sink deeper in darkness, those who worship sambhuti."
[Yajurveda 40:9]

Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol, etc.

Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol, etc.

Digs Marcus... Please don't make a mess outta shared post... Let's come to the point... Does polytheism makes hindus violent or a threat to the mankind like your Islam?..."doesn't believing in different level of officers makes our jobs easy?.. Hinduism is all about that"

Bablu Means
B

1. Terrorism and extremism is a different topic. Our current subject-matter is concept of god.

2. Levels of Officers? This does not apply when it comes to worship of God. There are no levels of gods. There are no superior gods, there are no inferior gods. There is only one Almighty God, one, unique, the Supreme Being.

MONOTHEISM IN HINDU SCRIPTURES vs. ANTHROPOMORPHIC HINDU CONCEPT OF GOD

"Ekam evadvitiyam"
"He is One only without a second."
[Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]

"Na casya kascij janita na cadhipah."
"Of Him there are neither parents nor lord."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 6:9]

"Na tasya pratima asti"
"There is no likeness of Him."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:19]

"Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam
"His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:20]

"na tasya pratima asti
"There is no image of Him."
[Yajurveda 32:3]

"shudhama poapvidham"
"He is bodyless and pure."
[Yajurveda 40:8]

"Na tasya Pratima asti"
"There is no image of Him."
[Yajurveda 32:3]

Svetasvatara Upanishad Chapter 4 verse 19:
"Na tasya pratima asti"
"There is no likeness of Him"

"Ma cid anyad vi sansata sakhayo ma rishanyata"
"O friends, do not worship anybody but Him, the Divine One. Praise Him alone." [Rigveda 8:1:1]

The Brahma Sutra of Hinduism is:
"Ekam Brahm, dvitiya naste neh na naste kinchan
"There is only one God, not the second; not at all, not at all, not in the least bit."

THE MONOTHEISTIC PASSAGES ABOVE VERSUS THE FOLLOWING ASTRAY HINDU CONCEPT OF GOD

Brahma means ‘The Creator’
Brahma is Almighty God who has four heads with each head having a crown.

Vishnu means ‘The Sustainer’
Vishnu among Hindus is that of a God who has four arms, with one of the right arms holding the Chakra, i.e. A discus and one of the left arms holding a ‘conch shell’, or riding a bird or reclining on a snake couch.

does hinduism has its hands on terrorism?... Even if some of them dont blv in one God policy?

Bablu Means
B

1. It is important and crucial that it is CLEAR that worship should be for the one Supreme Being alone. His creation, man-made idols, His so-called manifestations should not be worshipped.

2. To understand terrorism and extremism, you have to study a lot of things -- Western colonization of the Muslim world, Western invasion of muslim lands, West's meddling in muslims' domestic affairs, Zionism and Israeli aggression, etc. Nevertheless, it should be clear, terrorists like the ISIS are not true muslims and their actions and interpretations of Islam are wrong.

Digs Marcus

yes ISIS ARE TRUE MUSLIMS... As they follow quran too

Bablu Means 3 years

No, ISIS are not true muslims. They have wrong understanding and interpretations of the Quran. Their interpretations are wrong and extremist. Also wrong in their understanding and interpretation of their holy scriptures are Hindus.

Digs Marcus 3 years

Hindus worship entities beside their one, true, unique, almighty, supreme God.
