Anyone else have negative blood and have thought about it having something to do with RA ?
Have wondered if there is a connection.
I am A negative blood type. Have RA and Sjogrens Syndrome.
I'm a positive.
I am A negative. I have sero negative RA
I don't think there's any correlation. (O+)
negative or positive blood type has nothing to do with rheumatoid arthritis or any other autoimmune diseases. Good try.
Its not a good try Wynter Bostoni people with negative blood type have a higher risk of RA or autoimmune diseases. RA is not in my family and im the only one that has been suspected of having it and im the only one with neg blood type .
Unless you can find, peer reviewed, empirical scientific evidence, it's just an unsubstantiated opinion. The comments show the diversity in illness.
You'll hear all sorts of theories, from gum disease, fillings to vaccines. RA much like epilepsy is not a new disease to humans. I hope you find the right treatment for you.
yoli , I agree with you. That's what I was trying to get through to jan. I'm O positive.
I understand that people get caught up in trying to nail the catalyst, but sometimes it is just not possible and it is a better source of time to focus on treatment vs trying to find the blame. (Unless the person is in the medical field, researching the subject matter, using scientific methods.)
yoli So do you try anything natural for RA or do you wait for scientific evidence? Are you a profesional in the field? So dont try and tell me that i can and cant research. And there is plenty of research about whether people with neg blood are more susceptible to autoimmune such as RA .
I am AB-.
Me too- we are the rare ones!
We sure are.
B+ RA and Sjogrens
Well I'm O positive and have RA. First in my family to ever be diagnosed.
No I’m O+
I do have O negative
I really don't think blood type matters. My mom is same as me..... No issues with RA but dies have diabetes and blood pressure issues.
O+ and seronegative. As far as I know, no family history of RA, but family members do have other autoimmune diseases.
O+ and Sero-Negative. Paternal Grandmother was quite crippled from her RA.
I wondered about being RH negative when you are pregnant,,,,wonder if there is any link to the two?
No coz I wasn’t RH negative but positive to RA and O+ blood. No link
O- but no never questioned it
A-, sero negative. Never crossed my mind
Nope, I'm +.
