Can a Chiropractor help the patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Hi everyone! I'm really interested in going to a Chiropractor. My rhuematologist is against it. Has this helped any of you? I I would like to hear your good and bad experiences. Thanks!

I. Love. My. Chiropractor.
You have to be careful and find one who takes the time to do adjustments and isn't just in it for the money. Manual manipulation is awesome

Chiropractors are a temporary fix. I prefer physical therapy. It's sustainable.

I went to the chiro in November and haven't been able to sit or lay on my back to this day. I get nerve pain down into my feet. I can hardly walk most days. I've have 3 MRIs. He destroyed my back. L4 L5/S1. I've had to get injections and still recovering. It was my first and last time ever going to a chiro. I maybe a one off but I would never go back. I do physio 3xs a week now.

I think massage helps more, personally. But try it and see what helps you. I've been going to the chiropractor weekly for the past five months. It honestly hasn't helped me much, and she's a great chiropractor.

Shame on your physician for not. Ring open to all treatments that help you and yes both chiro and massage combined with clean diet, CBD oil etc can make a difference

It’s not temporary if you keep up with proper stretching

Check out Dr John Bergman you tube videos on Rheumatoid Arthritis. He inspired me to find a chiropractor in London. I’ve only had one session so far, and he only had time to touch me for 5 mins (after talking for 55) however he is all about identifying the root cause of my problem and I was very inspired. I would look for someone who has a holistic approach. John Bergman says ask them before if they can reverse Arthritis.

I used to love the chiropractor, but now with RA it's not at all for me.

I love my chiropractor. She is very gentle when needed and always checks in with me. I definitely would recommend going, it has helped me a lot!

I’m going now. Just started. I didn’t know they can manipulate the Rose with the activator. I’ve had chronic inflammation in my large toe for over a year and have had two cortisone shots in it so far. I can’t walk or jog because of it and both knees.

I would be lost without my chiropractor. She helps tremendously.

I am hesitant to use a chiropractor after having treatment for a back injury which got worse after chiropractic treatment. I recommend an osteopath or acupuncture though

Beverley Kemp

Massage Therapy instead.
