Jewelweed extract and/or jewelweed soap!!
I’ve heard that before
My son loves to be outdoors so I would love to find something natural for poison ivy so that he can enjoy camping and hunting.
Yeah. I agree with Charles. It's best avoided.
Calamine, baking soda bath
Teach him what it looks like and try to avoid. Otherwise washing immediately and using apple cidar vinegar on the areas that may have came in contact with it.
I wound up a mess ai far 2 weeks Horrible
An older lady at our church told us about a home remedy years ago. Wet strong deodorant soap and rub it on the rash. Let it dry on skin. It works.

Well, it is an oil, so wash with soap, but it has a biological component so hydrogen peroxide afterward kills it.
Baking soda paste worked great for me
Wash away the oil from the plant with dawn
Jewelweed soap and salves.

Tecnu to wash off the oils of Poison Oak and Ivy. And they also make a spray for itch relief.
Look in Walgreens, Rite Aid or online for Tecnu products.
Yup..... don't walk through it
Stay away from it!
yes. What makes you break out is an oil. That is why it can spread. Dawn dish washing liquid and scrubbing it off with a wash cloth gets rid of it better than anything !
rmember it is not the dish soap alone though but you must scrub it off with the cloth for it to work correctly
Stay out of it or calamine lotion... A lot of it
Boil a bunch of dandilions let cool and apply broth
Yeah.... Stay far away from it.
Here's a trick... Wet Jewelweed soap and form a lather on the infected area's and leave it on.. When I did this, in the bathroom, my partner thought I was rehearsing a scene from that film.. The relief is audible.
Make a tea from the bark of a sycamore tree and rub it on the affected area.
I had organic apple cider vinegar at home already and they covered his arm during chemo, so we rubbed his arm down really well with the ACV and it’s healing up really well! Thanks everyone!
